The alarm went off at 03.45, got up, got dressed and drove with Niels, Jakob and Mark to Billund airport, where we arrived at 05.30 Wednesday morning.

The flight left at 06.30, and we had to land in Amsterdam to switch to another flight. Finally we landed in Barcelona at 11.00, where we were lucky to find our luggage.

Arrived at TechEd to collect our badges and bags at the registration desk.
After registration, we took the local Tram and Metro to our hotel. Of course we couldn't find the hotel, so with the aid of my QTEK and a GPS reciever we were able to get even more lost! That is, until we found out, that the address was wrong... Finally arriving at the hotel, we sat down at the bar, for our first drink - a nice cold beer!

We wanted to see some of Barcelona, and someone new about a church nearby (See pictures on Niels' site). It would seem, that this church is one of the most famest, since it isn't even done yet. They were still building the towers, and more were to come. Some say they don't finish untill 2020!

After a quick shower, we were off to a danish night of festivities in the town of Barcelona. Microsoft Denmark had invited all the danish people at TechEd to dinner and drink at Microsoft expense. This was a big success, and afterwards we went to find a more suitable club, for having a few more drinks.
Due to drunken guides, we ended up af a pretty boring bar, so not long after, Henrik from Microsoft was leaving, and I wanted to join him.

So, first day in Barcelona was long, but wery exiting. Looking forward to start the TechEd for real!
